Writers who like to know their pace, and anyone practicing their typing without a drill to follow.
The editor while typing: a block caret with the live speed under it, and the status line along the bottom.
The stats drawer: net, gross, live and peak speed, accuracy, consistency, and counts of words, characters and sentences.
What it does
A quiet place to type, with live typing stats.
Only real typing counts toward speed. Pasting, dropping, undo and redo change the text but not the numbers, every deleted character counts as a correction, and pauses longer than two seconds don’t drag the average down. It all runs in the browser, with no backend, no storage and no tracking.
