Development hardware
STM32L4 Dev Kit is engineering material. The boards, firmware, and libraries published here are meant for development and evaluation. They haven’t been submitted for EMC, safety, or radio type approval, and no certification mark is claimed for them.
Before you build on it
If you take a design to production, it’s your design. Check component availability and lifecycle, re-run the design rules against what your fabricator can do, and do the compliance testing your product’s market requires.
If a board connects to a vehicle bus, mains power, or anything that can move or heat up, treat the reference material as a starting point. It isn’t a qualified design.
Errata
Known issues get recorded in the repository, not fixed silently. If you find one that isn’t listed, tell us and we’ll add it.
