Boards, sprints, issues, the query language and automation are all in use (this site’s own work is tracked in Andare).
Current work connects the tracker to the code, and lets agents work toward a goal instead of one ticket at a time.

Grouped by theme, in the order we plan to do them. There are no dates, and nothing on this page is a delivery commitment. The order can change if a customer gives us a good reason.

Connecting the tracker and the code
Right now an issue is only linked to the branch that closes it if someone remembers to link them. This work connects them automatically: the code reports what happened to the tracker, and the issue shows it.

- Issue keys picked up from branch names and commit messages
- A signed GitHub webhook receiver
- Automation triggers when a pull request opens or merges

Goal-directed agent work
Andare can already hand a single well-specified ticket to a coding agent. The next step runs longer. Each project gets one open goal, and an agent plans it, works on it in cycles, and closes it over time. Every cycle is recorded so you can read what was done.

Keeping old boards readable
A tracker that keeps everything forever gets hard to read. This work covers what happens to issues after they’re done, and makes boards nicer to use when they have a lot of columns.
- Archiving issues that have been done for longer than a set period
- A scheduled job that applies the archive rule
- Per-organization email templates
- Board layout fixes for empty and uneven columns

A Jira migration tool
Andare works with its own data. Importing another tracker’s full history accurately would be a whole product on its own.

Hours belong with the ledger, on the accounting side.
How this is maintained
Every item above is tracked in our own issue tracker, and this page is rewritten from it. Open bugs and security work are left off. Those stay in the tracker until they’re closed.
