Effective 30 August 2026. How CAN-to-USB handles information.
Summary
CAN-to-USB runs on hardware you control. It does not require an account, and the current version does not collect, sell or share personal information for advertising, analytics, profiling or cross-context tracking.
What stays on your machine
Settings, state and any work product CAN-to-USB produces are written to your own storage. They are not transmitted to DWMM Holdings in order for the product to function.
CAN-to-USB does not ask for your name, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera or advertising identifier in order to provide its features. Where a feature genuinely needs one of those, the product asks at the moment it needs it and says why.
Network activity
Any network connection the product makes is described in its documentation, is made to a service named there, and exists to deliver a feature you asked for. There is no background telemetry, advertising SDK or third-party analytics in the current version.
Retention and deletion
Because CAN-to-USB keeps its data locally, deleting the application and its data directory removes it. DWMM Holdings holds no server-side profile of your use to delete.
Support messages
If you contact support we receive what you choose to send — typically an email address and the details needed to answer. We use it to answer, keep it only as long as reasonably necessary, and do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Write to dmoore@dwmmholdings.com. Include the product name and a concise description; please do not send credentials or other sensitive information by email.
Changes
Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. If a future version adds a feature that changes these practices, this policy and any applicable store disclosures are updated before that version is released.
