Accessibility
How this site, and Free-WAN itself, are built to be usable.
This site
These pages target WCAG 2.2 AA. They use semantic landmarks and headings in order, a visible skip link, focus outlines that are never removed, text and interface colours checked for contrast against both the dark and paper grounds, and hit targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Everything on the site is readable without JavaScript. The animated illustrations are decorative, are hidden from assistive technology, and stop entirely under a reduced-motion preference.
The product
Free-WAN is built to the same standard where its interface allows it: keyboard reachability for every action, contrast checked rather than assumed, and no meaning carried by colour alone.
Unlike the claims about this site, which are checked on every build, that is a design commitment rather than a tested result — Free-WAN is not yet distributed, so it has had no audit and no contact with the assistive technology people actually use. It is recorded here so it can be held against the product when it ships.
