Mostly the apartment. You saw the place on Alder Street and keep going back and forth between the bigger kitchen and the longer commute . Maya told you to pick the one you’d still like in February, and you thought that meant Alder . You also wrote down questions for the landlord about parking and when the lease starts . Work’s in there too: launch slides are due Friday, and you’re waiting on numbers from Priya .

What it does

A personal knowledge base you can ask questions about your own life.

A lot of it got built in a short burst in May 2026, including the connectors, the search pipeline and a desktop shell, but it hasn’t been touched since. It’s on hold for now.

  1. 01

An assistant that answers from your notes, journal, mail and calendar, and cites its sources

  2. 02

Connectors for Gmail, Calendar, GitHub, Spotify, Steam and Discord

  3. 03

Pulls people, places and events out into a graph and a timeline

  4. 04

Web and desktop from one codebase

What Ask could see

Six connectors, two of them searchable.

Ask is a Claude tool-use loop with seven tools, and search_brain is the one that reads your history. The plan called for keyword search alongside the vector search. That part never got built.

  1. 01

    Notes and journal

Chunked, embedded with OpenAI’s text-embedding-3-small and stored in Pinecone, one namespace per user. These also feed the people, places and events graph.

  2. 02

    Gmail and Calendar

Synced every 15 minutes and searchable from Ask. Ask could also add, move and delete calendar events.

  3. 03

    GitHub, Spotify, Steam, Discord

The connectors work and store what they pull in, but none of it was ever indexed for Ask.

Status

Archived.

Nothing has changed since May 2026, and Honeycomb isn’t available to use. A few things were left half done: Ask threads were only saved on the device you asked from, and location capture was still marked coming soon.
