Accessibility
How this site and Honeycomb are built to be usable.
This site
These pages target WCAG 2.2 AA. They use semantic landmarks, headings in order, a visible skip link, focus outlines that are never removed, text and interface colors checked for contrast on both the dark and light backgrounds, and click targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Everything on the site can be read without JavaScript. The animated illustrations are decorative and hidden from assistive technology, and they stop completely if you’ve set a reduced-motion preference.
The product
Honeycomb is built to the same standard where its interface allows: every action can be reached by keyboard, contrast is checked, and color is never the only way something is shown.
The claims about this site are checked on every build. This one is a design commitment and hasn’t been tested. Honeycomb isn’t distributed yet, so it hasn’t been audited or tried with the assistive technology people use. It’s written down here so the product can be held to it when it ships.
