What state is rev-local in?
Shipping. Released and usable today. This site describes what exists today, not what's planned.
How do I get rev-local?
It's published to GitHub. The install commands are on this site, so pick the one for your platform. You don't need to contact anyone first.
Does my source code leave my machine?
Only where this site says so, and only to the service it names. In rev-local, the code that reads your repository is kept separate from the code that talks to third parties, so you can see which is which.
How do I get in touch?
Email dmoore@dwmmholdings.com with the product name and a short description of what you need. Please don't send credentials, payment card details, or other sensitive information by email.

Build rev-local
It’s open source under the Apache 2.0 license. There are no prebuilt downloads yet, so you build it from source with Rust.

cargo build --release --workspace
cargo tauri build --features desktop
The desktop app needs tauri-cli and is built from crates/revlocal-tauri. On Linux you’ll also need the WebKitGTK development packages. The public source is updated in batches, so it can be behind the newest features described here.
