Honeycomb / Documentation
Honeycomb, in detail
A personal knowledge base you can ask questions about your own life
Project brief
Honeycomb collects notes, journal entries, people, places and events, and pulls in more from Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Spotify, Steam and Discord. Then you can ask it questions in plain English, and it answers from your notes, journal, mail and calendar, with sources.
A lot of it got built in a short burst in May 2026, including the connectors, the search pipeline and a desktop shell, but it hasn’t been touched since. It’s on hold for now.
What’s included
• An assistant that answers from your notes, journal, mail and calendar, and cites its sources
• Connectors for Gmail, Calendar, GitHub, Spotify, Steam and Discord
• Pulls people, places and events out into a graph and a timeline
• Web and desktop from one codebase
Current status
This project is archived. This page keeps a record of its scope and the work that came out of it.
