Tracgen for mechanical parts
Project brief
Tracgen-CAD does for mechanical parts what Tracgen does for circuit boards. Describe a part in plain English and it produces a parametric solid or a multi-part assembly, a design-for-manufacturing review, a priced bill of materials that includes off-the-shelf hardware, and a manufacturing package.
The geometry comes from cadkernel, a Rust kernel built from one codebase into both a native CLI and a browser version. The same code that makes the parts also draws the previews.
