What state is Scribe in?
Shipping. Released and usable today. This site describes what exists today, not what's planned.
How do I get Scribe?
It's published to GitHub. The install commands are on this site, so pick the one for your platform. You don't need to contact anyone first.
Does it need an internet connection?
Scribe runs on your machine. If it has a network feature, that feature is described on this site, and the core product works without it.
How do I get in touch?
Email dmoore@dwmmholdings.com with the product name and a short description of what you need. Please don't send credentials, payment card details, or other sensitive information by email.

Install Scribe
The server installs with one command. It sets up Postgres, downloads the speech models (about 750 MB), and can publish itself on your Tailscale network.

On Windows, run it from Git Bash and it installs the latest release. On Linux and macOS it runs the server in Docker. Add --service to start it at boot, or --no-tailscale to keep it on your local network. The iPhone app is built from source in Xcode for now.
