How it works

The premise

Stamp embosses, engraves or cuts logos, serial numbers and text into STEP and STL files as actual geometry — not a texture, not a decal. Bring an SVG or DXF, place it on a face, and the part that comes out is the part you manufacture.

It runs on OpenCascade through a Qt desktop application, and the build is packaged and signed with CI behind it, though it is not distributed yet.

How it is built

Stamp is built on Python, OpenCascade, Qt and Inno Setup.

The method behind it

Every project here starts as a written specification, and the specification stays authoritative once code exists.
