What it is

Ciclo is the PLM product in the suite: components with revisions, bills of materials, engineering change orders with a multi-stage approval workflow, and role-based access for engineering, operations and sales.

It joined the shared tenancy after the other products and was migrated onto the common design tokens and component library, replacing its own visual identity. Its build fails if it drifts back off the shared platform.

Capabilities

What it actually does.

Engineering teams running product lifecycle out of a spreadsheet and a prayer.

  1. Components with specifications

Components with specifications, attachments, revision history and a Draft → Review → Released → Obsolete workflow

  2. Bill of materials management

Bill of materials management with where-used analysis

  3. ECO creation

ECO creation, routing and multi-stage approval

  4. Role-based access control

Role-based access control across admin, engineering, operations, sales and viewer roles

How it works

3 moves, end to end.

This is how Ciclo works, not a set of steps you can follow yet — it is in development and not distributed.

  1. Set up the company

One organisation record, one member list, one set of roles — shared with every product in the suite.

  2. Grant the product

Access is a capability on an existing member, not a second account to administer.

  3. Work in it

Ciclo enforces the same permissions the rest of the suite does, because it is reading the same tenancy.
